Flash Forward: My Rating 3/5

Whenever somebody talks about flash forward, the first thing that comes in my mind is “Why was it cancelled?”
Yes the show stands cancelled after the first season!!!!! May be I personally am so obsessed with Sci-fi serials that I just can’t accept the failure of any one but still….come on…the series was awesome; the canvas huge and the plot terrific.
I liked the way in which this series progresses. The entire world loses consciousness for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and saw the future. Then there is FBI special agent Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) who in his flash forwards is investigating the cause of this phenomenon. He is the one trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle and while doing so he comes to know that another black out is happening soon. The plot becomes even more interesting towards the end when the blackout actually happens (last episode) where again people see the future but this time it looks like a very distant future.
Watch the available 22 episodes of this series and you will for sure enjoy the same.
I am just waiting for the day when this series will have a second season and the series can have a classic ending.

LOST: My Rating 4.5/5

Writing a review about Lost; what better place than an airplane. Yes, I am writing this in a plane!! For people who know Lost only from the previews, it is a series about a plane crash; survival on an island, flashback’s blah blah; and honestly this is the same reaction I get from most of my friends who know the name of the series but have not go beyond the previews.
What if the Island has a story to tell? What if the survivors were about to discover things way beyond human sanity. Now this is really what Lost is all about. The script here is the lead actor in the entire series. This may sound a bit awkward for all lost-o-maniacs but the entire six seasons have you glued to the television only because of the nature of the script; actors are just fitting the blocks into the puzzle. Every character, every sub plot and every disaster is of epic proportions. While you are watching the series, you keep thinking about life, soul, relations and most importantly God and His existence.
All six seasons of Lost were enjoyable, but I was disappointed with the series finale. Many people have not liked the series finale but the reasons are different. Most of the lost-o-maniacs did not like the way the series has made people use their brain to think whether all the Oecanic airline passengers are really dead and if they are moving in a parallel universe or else …where the fuck are they really??  My questions are a bit different. Lost talks about flash-back, flash-forwards as well as flash-sideways. Having made use of such great concepts, the writers have not been able to give answers to simple questions. What about the Dharma Initiative? How could the serial not have answered questions about such an important aspect of the serial? To me this is what the finale conveys “Man you have a lot of questions; yes we have introduced many characters and theories that most of the times contradict one another; but now the series is ending…it is just time to move on”
But no need to be disappointed by this bit; I understand with great series like Lost, the expectations are even higher.
Hats off to Jeffrey LieberJ. J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof for creating a Television spectacle. Great story told the way it should have been.

Heroes: My Rating 4/5

After watching the first few episodes of Heroes, one thing was clear. Either Tim Kring is from other galaxy or else he was fully loaded with drugs while writing the plot or creating the characters. No sane human can create something like this. An age  superman, batman or spiderman are lost in the milling crowd of  superheroes, Kring comes with something that is just fantastic.
The Petreilli brothers and in fact the entire family make you think...how far can you go for the family. Noah Bennet is superb and so is Claire. Hero Nakamura is great with his comic timing and yes Suresh is great. But my favourite from the series is Sylar, His personality, transformation and the overall acting is great.
The special effects in this series are great and are the major attraction of this series. You will just love it.
Overall a great journey through season one and two but season three and four were pathetic. What happened???? I think the writers were not on a high
Now that the series has been cancelled, and there is now way that it can start over again; it is time to just go back and watch seasons one and two again and again

Prison Break: My rating 3.5/5

When it comes to Prison Break everyone remembers Michael Scofield. I agree chums! It is true; his character was written like this but what about performances. After watching the entire series, I found the acting of Alex Mahone (William Fichtner) to be the best.
Wentworth Miller did not do proper justice to his role. He looked less like a super brain and more like an autistic.
Prison Break was gripping in season 1 because of the premise and season 2 because of Mahone and the rest two seasons..all credit goes to Tea Bag. He plays the perfect sicko across all seasons.
Great series but yes the series finale disappointed a lot…one more thing Dominic Purcell wasted himself as Lincoln Burrows

Breaking Bad: My rating 5/5

This serial is one that I consider to be a yardstick. Watching any other drama series after this one will look like the typical chewing the scenery thing. Vince Gilligan is a great story teller and Bryan Cranston is the man and yes you can't ignore Aaron Paul at all; he is fantastic.

This is one serial that has a heart in it. Each and every episode is a thriller in itself. Three seasons have been aired and I am now eagerly waiting for the fourth one.
Walter (Brian) is an underachiever as a chemistry teacher and then he comes to know that he has terminal cancer....a transformation in his character happens and he becomes the Meth guy.

Hey wait!!!!
Go watch the fu###n series; I guaran..damn..tee that you wont be disappointed.

Some of my favorite moments from the series:
*Walter goes to Tuco's den to get the money
*Mike's dialogue about half measures
*The pot head's wife crushing his head with an ATM machine
*Walter trying to kill the fly
